D’Andre had an essence that would light up a room. He was a loyal and funny friend, and a very dedicated member of his family. He was the life of the party and whenever he walked into a room, you knew it. D’Andre had an enormous love for his family and friends. He loved people and could engage in a conversation with anyone. D’Andre had a love for all Cleveland Sports Teams and loved to sing and dance. He was a young man of many talents. D’Andre was a caring man who brought joy to the world. He was an amazing human being who touched the lives of everyone he met in some way. He always went out of his way to help and to give back. He left behind a wife, children, parents and a ton of family and friends. It is the mission of these individuals to keep his legacy alive.

The Foundation

The Dandre Rhone Foundation was established in 2022 to honor the life and achievements of

D’Andre Jamal Rhone, a young husband, father, son and friend. D’Andre was an innocent

bystander of a violent event that caused his untimely death. To continue his legacy of excellence, generosity, and service, a scholarship fund was established.

The purpose of the fund is to annually award scholarships to African American

female students who have lost their father to gun violence. These students are graduating from

high school and will be attending a College or University.

The scholarship will be rewarded to students who have displayed exemplary achievements in the athletic and academic arenas despite hardships and/or challenges.

The scholarship will be funded by Fund Raising Events that brings the community,

family, and friends together to celebrate the life of D’Andre Rhone. In addition, funds

from contributions given and/or donated by generous businesses, friends and donators

will help in sustaining the fund.
